It's 2009 already, time really does flies and i'm already half way through my final year project.

Everyday seemed like it's years crawling. Boring & Plain is the words that i would like to use describing my uninteresting days in school.
Although at the same time, i was also glad the working world was still a distance away. (i hate the 9-5 working hours)

sadly to speak, i very much wished i was a tai-tai with at least a maid at home (i'm very much accustomed to having one).

Mini- updates of my life
I have drastically morphed from a 24/7 geeky manga in-her-own world gal to a love all clothings buy-click-buy shopaholic!
If i had the money, these companies would be making much more. LOL i've tons of stuffs i want from them! (give'em to me!)
China was darn hot! (slaps the subject who told us it was cold).Clever me only brought 2 tops and 1 shorts(which includes the set i wore there), not to forget my undies(of course). And my brillant brother brought 4 pairs of god-knows-how-heavy jean-material pants. Annoyingly, we've to bear the bag weight that increases as each day pasts.
It was pretty boring the first few days. We stayed at hong lai, my gramp's brother's house. I didn't enjoy my stay there, there wasn't much shopping to enjoy. THE BED WAS HARD!i felt literally like i'm sleeping on the floor. The stupid shower heater refuses to do my abidding! I stood there (10 mins at least) figuring how to get that dam heater on. Not to forget, it reeks of burnt tea. The corridor smells like it's flooded with chloride.

We visited the famous temple too, it was said to be very true. And we all went sincerely to pray and ask(qiu qian) and am the only lucky kid to have a shang shang qian.Which i was doubting, because i asked for studies and the guy told me i would have a very bright future, he even asked for my age. Ironically, i'm struggling in poly.

Okay here's the pictures.

Okay!A few slight points to be noted. The following shout out ain't anything discriminating. i'm just complaining as a neutral. Here goes...

I hate it when they!
-litter like there's no tomorrow
-spit like it's nobody's business
-Shout when the partner is just infront
-NOT GIVE WAY TO PEDESTRIANS

The shops there was however nice with SAs greeting you cheerfully.

okay another annoying part. They all speak hokkien there. And irritably the language is alien to me.What's more, they speak PURE HOKKIEN!(very much to what i hear here) .So when i ask the SA "How much is this?" she replies contrastingly "oh that's the latest piece in store and the only one!"

This is what i got for myself!
Which includes 2 belts, a pair of sunglasses, 14 tops, a scaf, 2 caps, 4 bags.

I got this from the airport for my buddies!
Holidays marks the end of EXAMS! HATEFUL EXAMS!BE GONE~!

Now i'm living life like a oba-san?!haha~been drowning myself with korean dramas(but of course i skipped through alot of draggy parts.)

Finished hastily:
Winter Sonata
-Lovely Drama Indeed! It's my 2nd time watching it; got really teary when you jin thought joong sang was dead. Teared when you jin told min hyun(the present joong sang) that he did not know true love and what's its like to have someone you love gone. She said: Nothing changes, everyday passes, the world revolves,it is just you without your loved one. The feeling of emptiness inside just hurts.
The beginning was with you jin being the bubbly/lively one and after the death of joong sang, she becomes the lonely one. While joong sang ( now min hyun) becomes the lively one.

overall i would rate it a 8/10. ^^ (Bae yong jun looks so much better in black studious haircut :P)

Stairway To heaven
-Another Choi Ji woo drama, as usual, another teary one that made me cry like mad. Kim Tae Hee was fantastic in this show, shes awfully pretty!!!! Her role here was a evil, bitachy step sister. And yes! she did a great job in making me hate her. In drama, you ri(kim tae hee) and her mother was atrocious. Poor jang soo (choi ji woo). lol. Fancy getting beaten just because she was smarter and loved by cheng jun(kwon sang woo). lol! Can you imagine her step sister ramping her car over with intentional ulterior motive!

haix..

This is one bloody sad drama! Jang soo dies in the end

Then again, KIM TAE HEE! Is dam pretty!I love her in : Love Story In Harvad. Shes the main lead there and of course the good/kind doctor!LOL! A total different image~

she doesn't look 28 doesn't she?lol!

Currently on:
Sad Love Story
-Another touching story featuring kwon sang woo and kim hee sun~so far so good! But heard it's another bloody sad drama~Both my brother loves it bits.!

Next Target:
Bratty Princess
-A korean-taiwan combination. Alex su and Jang Nara.My mum said the drama's good.Funny and entertaining throughout~So i guess i'll watch this.
The Legend Of 4 Gods
-Don't know what it is about but everyone in my family finished the series except me~and positive comments from them.So i'll watch this series too.

PLANS for graduation 2010
Brother(younger) and i plan on going japan after we graduate.Estimated cost for trip is $6k or maybe more.0_0 I better start saving NOW! Hopefully i'll get a decent job. i kinda dislike starhub's 11-13 hour job.Extremely tiring.I yearn for a job as a mucic teacher for pre-schoolers.

My new friend for the long bus trips~
Le made this for me!~SO CUTE LARHs!haha~Hers was equally cute. She got the green one.

It was the final year mathematics paper for me this morning at 9am! I was already blanked out; having mugged through afternoon the day before(including a mini-recap at night). I had only 5 hours of sleep prior to the exams. I was totally drained!

The paper was a killer! As usual math had the power of depleting both my brain cells and energy efficiently.
As I sat and read the paper, i could feel the nervous cum anxiety exam syndromes intruding. Math paper was real hard. It was freaking annoying when i could do the first part and not able to do the next!Frustrating ain't it?!Let's just hope we all pass!

The Mammoth Book Of CSI
I coincidentally spotted this fantastic book at one of the racks in cheng san library. It is about real-life crime scene investigations solved by forensics.

Case 1. Murder of sweet baby James.

2year old James bulger was led away and murdered by 2 Ten years old Boys(Richard Thompson & Jon Venables) while shopping with mummy one day.
James was led away and tortured horribly by the 2. The latter was kicked, slammed and thrown with bricks. He was found dead in the middle of the railway track with body torn into 2 by the train driver(unaware of the body). James was spotted by a few kids who thought it was a doll racked into 2. When found, numerous wounds could be found on the body, which includes wounds inflicted by bricks on head so badly that the skull could be seen, bruised arms and legs, broken ribs etc. The 2 bastards was finally convicted when mass evidence found showing the 2 leading baby James from sight on CCTV.

I was going WTF when i read the book. How can boys at 10 commit such malicious acts?Especially when the victim was only 2, harmless & innocent. It was awefully saddening when the act was a planned one with videos showing Richard&Jon playing around James a few days before the act.

Case 2. The Death of the Pegeant queen
Jonbenet Patricia Ramsey was murdered at age 6

Case unsolved till now, parents were suspected.
Jonbenet was kidnapped one day, her mother found a 2 page long ransom note on the kitchen stairway
In the afternoon of the same day, Boulder Police Detective Linda Arndt asked Fleet White, a friend of the Ramseys, to take John Ramsey and search the house for "anything unusual."[2] John Ramsey and two of his friends started their search in the basement first. After first searching the bathroom and "train room," the two went to a "wine cellar" room where John found his daughter's body covered in a white blanket More Here
Clearly shows how the murderer had access with firm familiarity around the house. It was said that the ramsey's house had a complicated geographical layout and Yet the murderer was able to find it's way to jonbenet's room.
Another depressing case, the world has lost another pretty child. With the many cases/shows i've read, it is saddening to know what the world has become of.

I have a friend who has the ability to see the supernatural, i asked her regarding her views on those things . Her reply was : Man are far more terrifying. The crimes they commit are frighteningly horrifying.
Gramp's birthday was undeniably boring~no offense but yea! the house was so packed, there was hardly space for sitting. The area out wasn't large enough to provide comfort for the many of us. My brother and i ended up sitting by the stairs. And eww! It reeks of urinated smell.
Besides all those, i had a good chat with my pri.6 cousin. Shes real pretty, like her sisters, but i hope she doesn't end up like them. I seriously would love to see her enter poly; to experience something her sisters would never get to. Hearing the conversation amongst my cousins made me feel lucky to be in poly while they are already working;I'm still enjoying my school life!

YAY!My novel arrived!(but that was like 1week ago?lol! i had been lazy to blog)

Breaking Dawn
Just got this pre-order from popular! AND OMG! Our favourite couple(Edward X Bella) are finally married and with child! =X (my apologies for the spoiler), half vampire half human~ can you imagine that combination! totally cool! Bella almost died giving birth to her. But it was all worth it!And bella herself is a vampire^^ I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE! *Screams in excitement*

My pretty fabulous, fantastic, splendid, awesome, spectacular ultra cute pink flip phone! hees~

To the ones who constantly reminded me to update : I tried ! i swear! the connection wasn't doing me justice by disconnecting at the point when i hit on the submit button. zzz my morale was halved and i gave up.

Recent updates:
Just met up with ann marie, joan and the allisonS.
Ann was as usual pretty even though she was just in her plain henley and jeans. >_< Joan and i was about an hour late, like always, she wanted to meet me before gathering with the others. When the 3 of us met, a mixture of feelings struck me as i reunite with my buddy whom i have not seen nor met up for the past 1 1/2 years.Immediately, the 3 of us hovered in our conversation as the allisons remained left out>_<! Was feeling a little guilty towards my other 2buddies.
Ann was expressing her embarrassment when the 2 spoke loudly while shopping around. p.s the topic was on yaoi! LMAO! But that was so them! lol ! The allisonS was famous on 136 bus those days! The 2 never fails to attract attention on bus 136 every morning with their accented volume and interesting conversations! haha! so cute! Gohgoh( 1 of the allisons) especially, I remember myself looking out for her enormous bag(that she claims forgetting to pack every night), not to forget, her 2 huge paper bag packed with stacks of worksheets. It was just so easy to spot her! haha!
Memories from high school felt just like we graduated just yesterday. Time really flies and we're now 19.

Exams are in 4days time!OMG!MATH!one freaking brain-dissolver subject~Shall upload see zbin's classic picture tomorrow.

nights peeps!

HOORAYS! It's finally a other-then-Malaysia tour trip for the soon-to-be 19 years old ling!haha~!
I'm not exaggerating, but yeah, i haven't been on the plane for the past 10years, the last was to Australia but that was age 6(which i could barely recall). So to say, i'm extremely excited about this 3 weeks holiday that i'm gonna embark on. Moreover it's a trip with 2 of my besties! It's SHOPPING SHOPPING & MORE SHOPPING! Aunty has already got all planned out for us; with accommodations, air tickets and programs lined up for us. We're going for a temple-praying, farm-living-in experience, spring bath indulgence, endless night market trips, massive food exposure and not to forget hours of bus rides(we'll be traveling from tainan downwards and into taipei).

It's A MONEY-BIG-SPENDING EVENT! I hope $800 sgd is enough for the everything-must-get me. LOL I intend to get myself a new set of wardrobe to last me through poly, a pair of sunglasses(have been yearning for one), a bag, a new wallet(definitely, a pink one though.juicy?),a pair of new sandals!, bags and Tees for my brothers?(probably, if i have the cash)and some assorted snacks for my mates and friends.

AND YES!

updates about myself recently~
It's major exam soon, in about a month time? i am so freaking scared, as you've realised, i've been happily slacking and guiltiness is gradually eating into my conscious. I just hope i've enough to just get me promoted.

Lappy has been giving me problem again!I've to reformat it again! It's a turn-off~This time, both C&D has to be cleaned.

skip that....

anyways..

I'm on the 2nd season of criminal minds-
It pains me, sometimes, by the ugly side of present human society. How could humans inflict such treacherous algetic action on the other party and at the same time feels pleasure in doing so.Some even sort sexual release through those assaults.

There was this case of a prolific killer who've been suspected of murdering hundreds of people for the past 30 years and have gone unsolved. The murderer, Frank, is seriously sick in the mind, he is a sexual sadist pyschopath. Which explains the total no-remorse-no-guilt-no-feeling personality. He just loves killing, the power he feels its his to decide the death of his victims. He also takes pleasure in seeing fear in his victims.
The disgusting things he did :
1.Selects his victims with solitary backgrounds,He ensures his victims are people whom are never sought for if ever gone missing.
2.He catches them and jabs them with a supposedly-like anesthetic solution to keep them awake and immobile.
3.He dissects them alive with the victims witnessing themselves being chopped up(can you imagine the horror?!)
4.Removes one of their rib bones and dumps their bodies.

THIS GUY IS DEFINITELY SICK! He was tracked eventually but was let offed(due to forced circumstances) And in one of the last 5 episodes of season 2, i'll meet him again. This Sexual Sadist Psychopath has got to be prosecuted.
Lappy got hit by an unknown virus (not sure if there are), it was my intuition because my internet was taking such a bloody long time to load a webpage(which is pretty abnormal). Whats worse! I tried using AVG in attempt of killing the 'virus', my lappy couldn't restart and i was forced into a recovery-reformat situation. Sucky ain't it?! Whats freaky was 2 days after i reformatted my lappy, my files in my main folder 'rin' got wiped out!-pouts. And i was 100% sure no potential subjects could do that(considering the other 3 in my house couldn't maneuver the laptop) BAD DAY!

Aesthetically, i'm feeling Melancholy
To further add on, i just got reprimanded for my attendance warning letter. THANKS MR ****! although i know i was partly at fault. Darn it! why can't he just lend a helping hand! My mentor told me it was reversible!!!!! And he goes brushing me off without even empathizing in my plight. *rolls eyes*
I've already emailed him, hopefully much can be done or my parents would go mad again. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tests!
YES, pros and cons of a bloody paper that very well judges our intelligence+interest+attentiveness in class. I hate tests, seriously, i hate having to realize that after 8weeks in school, i'm still having problems solving sums that should've been taught during the first few weeks. The pros about it- CT serves as a reminder to all slackers like myself to wake up and buck up for the end year paper which is not very far from the CT. Well at least i could manage the paper and not enter the examination hall and go "shyt-what-the-hell-is-this"?. I'm actually expecting an F but! i would hate having a Fb grade. Hope lady luck is on my side!

Criminal minds!
YAY It's my current loved- american drama, i've finally finished the first 21 episodes of the 1st season. As le ting has warned!, i'm careful not to watch episode 22 since its a part 1 story that links on to season 2 episode 1 in which, unfortunately, stupid u torrent hasn't finished downloading. It's saddening to hear agent jason gideon and elle leaving. I would love to see jason gideon throughout the series.

Wars-in-laws ll
Another series i've finished! Love this series although i feel part 1 was better in terms of more successful comedic attempts therefore it far supresses the 2nd one. Part 2 depicts more of a situation in which more around the world are facing. Sustaining a life long commitment, both protagonists displayed excellent acting skills in portraying what is happening to many in the present century. It seems that many are not communicating well after marriage which led to lack of trust between both parties and in turn caused the failure of their marriage. Easier said than done so. Anyways this drama's a real good catch! A must watch!

TAIWAN!
YAY! It's a whole new experience for me~I'm praying that mummy keeps her promise and bring me there for the coming september holidays~~There are just so many things i wanna get!haha!

Holidays!Hoorays!9th june-22nd june
Although 'Holidays' was just a pretext, the objective of this 2 weeks is to buck up and rush through for the upcoming common test. And bleah! i'm still seeing stars whenever i review a question trance upon me.*calls for hlp~sos!* 4 new modules for me to absorb?Hell no! it's hard being able to do that in 11weeks?*sigh* i just wish i had criminal mind's dr spencer reid's 187 IQ eidetic memory and fascinating ability to read 20,000 words per minute! then again, if i had that, i wouldn't be in that dam engineering course. I would be a profiler just like him! However, in terms of experience, gideon far surpresses him, with the ability to 'think out of the box' and able to be 'imaginatively creative'.
Dr. Spencer Reid : "I don't believe intelligence can be accurately quantified, but i do have an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory, can read 20,000 words per minute.*pause* yes, i'm a genius. " COOL AIN'T HE?!

And how unusally lucky i was!
MY dad got me 5 tickets for the charity golf lucky draw and i won a LG phone!

My new crave!Ain't it cute?!LOL!I'm rather a big fan of harajunku's stuff! But of course, lol, i only fancy their wallets! No way i'll carry bags with such prints~>_<

If you are an ASS: A very loyal and sweet person. Your loyalty can never be doubted. You are quite honest and sincere when it comes to your attitude towards working. You are a very simple person, indeed. Absolutely hassle free, humble and down-to-earth!! That explains the reason why your friends cling on to you! You have a good taste for clothes. If your wardrobe is not updated with what is trendy, you sure are depressed. Popular and easy-going. You have a little group of dignified friends, all of them being quality-personified.

If you are a SLUG : Always up to some sort of a mischief! The mischievous gleam in your eyes is what makes you so cute and attractive to everyone. You are an extremely fun-to-be-with kind of person. No wonder people seek for your company and look forward to include you for all get-together's. However, you are sensitive which is a drawback. People need to select their words while talking to you. If someone tries to fiddle around and play with words while dealing with you, it is enough to invite your wrath.
God bless the person then!

If you are a COCKROACH : Quite contradictory to your name, you are a peace loving person. You best try to avoid a situation wherein you are required to fight. An outdoor person, you dislike sitting at one place for a long duration. You are a born leader, and have it in you how to tactfully derive work from people. You love being loved, and when you receive your share of limelight from someone, you are all theirs!!!! Well, well... hence some people could even take an advantage, flatter you to the maximum and get their work done. So be careful....

If you are a PARASITE : An extremely lovable, adorable person, sometimes shy, with a passion for quick wit. At times, you prefer quietness. You love exploring various things and going into depth of each thing. Under normal circumstances you're cool but when given a reason to, you are like a volcano waiting to erupt. You're a fashion bird. People look forward to you as an icon associated with fashion. Basically, you mingle along freely but don't like talking much to strangers. People feel very easy in your company. You observe care in choosing your friends.

If you are a SKUNK : You are near to perfect and nice at heart. The examples of your kindness are always circulated in groups of people. You too, love peace. You wouldn't like to retaliate even to a person who is in the wrong. You are loved due to this. You do not wish to talk behind one's back. People love the way you always treat them. You can give, give and give love, and the best part is that you do not expect it back in return. You are generous enough. Seeing things in a practical light is what the best trait of you guys remains.

If you are a BULLFROG : You symbolize a very happy-go-lucky approach in life. Whatever the surroundings may be, grim or cheerful, you remain unaffected. In fact, you spread cheer wherever you go. You are the leader of your group of friends and good at consoling people in their times of need. You dislike hypocrisy and tend to shirk away from hypocrites. They can never be in your good books, no matter what. You are very methodical and organized in your work No amount of mess, hence, can ever encompass you. Beware; it is easy for you to fall in love....
This is me*points above*^^

If you are a SNAKE : You are mysterious. You are someone who can handle pressure with ease, and can handle any atmosphere without going berserk. You can be mean at times, and love to gossip with your selected group. Very prim and proper. You like all situations and things to be in the way you desire, which, sometimes is not possible. As a result, you may lose out in some relationships. But otherwise, you love to help people out from difficult and tight spots when they really need you.

If you are an APE : Very impatient and hyper!!! You want things to be done as quickly as possible. At heart, you are quite simple and love if you are the center of attraction. That way, you people are unique..You would like to keep yourself safe from all the angles. Shall your name be dragged or featured in any sort of a controversy, you then go all panicky. Therefore, you take your precautions from the very beginning. When you foresee anything wrong, your sixth sense is what saves you from falling in traps. Quite a money minded bunch you people are!!

It was the 200bucks that motivated me and kept me propelling towards my target today.(money here i come!)

It was day 2 of the charity golf show, i woked up early, 9am(8.50 to be exact), had a comfortable bath(sorry to have made daddy wait) and left the house together with him. we reached our destination promptly at 9.50. It was freaking cold that morning .

Ariel arrived shortly after i did, we started performing at 11.30, we took turns to play pieces. Today's donation was a whole lot better than yesterday's. We had more generous golfers willing to donate. It was commendable for we raised $1700 for both days(considering we were both new to this).

And yay! i was dam lucky larhs!8065 won!(nice number yeh?)
I actually won a LG phone during the lucky draw, although it isn't a model i fancied, still it made me happy. And i ended giving the phone to my mum whom has used her current phone for almost 5years?goodness~i had trouble maneuvering her keypads!hees~and in-exchange for that, i intend to get her to sponser my hair dye course.LOL.hope she agrees to it.

-A new LeSportSac Tokidoki wallet
-A new hair color
-Moonlight, the sequel to twilight
I bumped across A chinese tall story music video while glancing at maestro Joe Hisaishi's videos. I was a fan of joe's works, but now i've officially morphed into one of his crazy fans. His compositions are simple yet extravagance; melodically pleasant to ears. I get motivated to practice whenever i hear his songs. +_____+

And while viewing joe's videos, i came across this guy's(yes, another one with 'sick' talent.LOL). He made the song by just hearing the orchestra. Unfortunately no scores were made.-pouts . i would very much love to learn it.

Joe Hisaishi's mini orchestra version
Twilight=
A novel so addictive, i brought it everywhere with me, in hopes of reading through edward cullen and isabella swan's love story. Although such story never cease to exist in reality, it was just so enticing, implanting hopes of being just like the female lead. Okay- the movie will be released on the 12th of december and i really cannot wait to see it!
It's just so fascinating to actually start doubting the existence of vampires when numerous novels and movies are made so real to believe. Oh well it was like the recent movie of emily rose when my cousin told me when he watched the movie, he began questioning himself the existence of god.lol

Well here goes the trailer><リンク:>
Big brother has just returned from brunei; he had to go for a NSF Service thingy(ain't so sure about it). Yeap, i'm super glad hes back safetly, was looking forward for the 'dong bang shin ki' DVD he got me, to my dismay, its shinwa. *dang* Well, at least he thought of his dear sister~
Other then that, hes gotten himself a whole collection of DVDs, you name it, hes got it. LOL, i rummaged through the piles and coincidentally found 'street fighter'. LOL.What an old show? But, i was however looking forward to watching it since i play the game. Back to topic, i was amazed how he managed to smuggle dozens of *XXX* back, he included his friend's collection too(which is like piles of'em?).

If you have kept an update of the news, you would've known this particular one. Apparently the protagonist of this scandal was a bastard; a shame to all living man. He should be prosecuted and dealt heavily, having caused such trauma to a young girl and she is none other then his daughter! He not only imprisoned her, he also as her father violated her.

For more details*points below*
Austrian father held daughter captive for 24 years, fathered 7 children

VIENNA - AUSTRIAN police on Sunday arrested a 73-year-old man accused of locking up his daughter in his cellar for 24 years and fathering seven children with her.

A prosecution spokesman said Ms Elisabeth Fritzl, 42, had accused her father, Josef, of 'massive crimes'. DNA tests are being conducted on the woman and six surviving children.

It is the third time in recent years that Austria has been stunned by tales of children locked away by parents or adults they know.

According to police, Ms Elisabeth Fritzl told investigators her father put her to sleep with an anaesthetic on August 28, 1984, handcuffing her in a locked basement.

Officially, she was declared a missing person, with Interpol opening an investigation.

A letter was sent to her parents asking that they stop searching for her and local authorities concluded she had been seized by a religious sect.

She told police that she spent years imprisoned in an underground chamber beneath the family home near the eastern town of Amstetten.

Ms Elisabeth Fritzl told detectives she was 'regularly abused' by her father and their incestuous relationship produced seven children.

All the children appear to have been born in grim captivity but investigators said one child, a twin, died shortly after birth. Police said the body was subsequently burned.

Three boys and three girls, now aged between five and 20, survived. Josef Fritzl legally adopted two boys and one girl.

Josef Fritzl is said to have told his wife, Rosemarie, and local authorities that three babies had been left by Elisabeth on their doorstep, in different years.

Each delivery was accompanied by a letter purportedly signed by Ms Elisabeth Fritzl saying she could not support the child because she already had others to care for.

The trio went to school as normal, seemingly unaware that their mother and three other siblings (a girl of 19, and boys at 18 and five) were trapped underground.

According to ORF national television, the mother and five children are now in hospital. All are being treated by a team of psychologists. Reports said the mother was physically frail and badly disturbed by her ordeal.

Authorities were worried about the health of the mother and three of her children.

No knowledge

Yet neither neighbours nor social services appear to have had the slightest inkling. 'They had a swimming pool in the garden, we would hear them laughing the three of them,' said one neighbour.

Another backed up the story of the babies on the doorstep, adding:

'(Rosemarie) always looked after the kids so well, taking them to school. We said 'it's incredible what she manages to do at her age'.'

Police said the case only came to light after one of the girls, 19-year-old Kerstin, was admitted to hospital in a critical condition in mid-April.

Doctors stepped up efforts to find the mother, looking for background medical information, and Josef Fritzl brought his secret offspring into the family home.

He is said to have told his wife they suddenly re-appeared. Ms Elisabeth Fritzl told investigators her mother knew nothing about the sexual abuse she had endured since the age of 11, some seven years before she was locked away.

Authorities found Ms Elisabeth Fritzl and the three underground children on Saturday evening.

In a cell himself since Saturday night, Josef relented and gave police the security access codes to the basement on Sunday night.

Police found several rooms 170cm high equipped with water and a television.

Josef Fritzl had been refusing to answer questions put by detectives, although Gerhard Sedlacek, a prosecution spokesman, said Elisabeth's accusations of kidnapping and incest are 'credible'.

Austria's most notable prior case was that of Ms Natascha Kampusch, locked up by a man in the basement of a house for eight years before she escaped.

Ms Kampusch was 10 when Wolfgang Priklopil abducted her on her way to school in 1998. The 44-year-old kidnapper killed himself hours after she fled, throwing himself under a train.

Three young girls were also locked up for seven years by their mentally ill mother near Linz. -- AFP
